Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and be mobile for the duration of shifts
- Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting up to 44 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in environments with refrigeration, freezer temperatures and exposure to allergens
- Ability to access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- Ability to interpret instructions, reports, and information
- Ability to handle cash register operations as needed
- Strong communication skills
- Must comply with all safety policies, standards, and training
- Commitment to ethical conduct and compliance
- Ability to climb ladders when necessary
- Must be able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
- Ability to resolve guest questions quickly and efficiently
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
Job Duties
- Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments such as greeting guests and assisting their needs
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience and upholding food and beverage standards
- Execute food and beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, inventory management, cleaning, signing, and organizing products
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Maintain an inviting dining area for guests and engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards
- Produce hand crafted beverages and food to specification on recipe cards while following all food safety requirements
- Complete all required cleaning, training, and certification tasks as outlined in best practices and maintain compliance with safety and ethical standards
