Job Requirements
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- interpret instructions, reports and information
- accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- climb up and down ladders if required
- scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely including lifting merchandise up to 44 pounds occasionally
- flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to work in refrigeration and freezer temperatures and environments where common allergens may be present
- ability to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
- ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
- work both independently and with a team
- resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
Job Duties
- Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by greeting guests with a smile and making eye contact
- help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience
- execute food and beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, inventory routines, cleaning, signing, and organizing products
- maintain food safety and quality by following state and federal guidelines and monitoring temperature-sensitive items
- support the Starbucks Drive Up process by fulfilling digital guest orders accurately and on time
- produce handcrafted beverages and food to Starbucks specifications
- complete all required cleaning tasks and ensure dining areas are inviting throughout the shift
