Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods
  • ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds
  • ability to grasp and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills
  • ability to move through narrow or elevated spaces
  • ability to reach overhead and below the knees including bending and twisting

Job Duties

  • Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools
  • stock and maintain work areas
  • input orders into cash register system and collect payment
  • take orders, record in MICROS system and prepare food and coffee beverages
  • ensure appliances are turned on/off at appropriate times
  • bus coffee cart areas and tables
  • clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables and equipment
  • obtain change required for expected business level
  • count bank at end of shift and complete cashier reports
  • resolve discrepancies, secure bank
  • follow all safety and security policies and procedures
  • report accidents and unsafe conditions
  • maintain professional appearance
  • welcome and acknowledge guests
  • anticipate and address guests' service needs
  • assist individuals with disabilities
  • speak clearly and professionally
  • develop positive working relationships
  • ensure adherence to quality standards
  • read and verify information
  • inspect tools and equipment for defects
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • move and lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • perform other duties as requested
