Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays and peak times
- Ability to lift or move product up to 44 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in refrigeration and freezer environments
- Ability to remain mobile during scheduled shifts
- Access all areas of building as needed
- Comply with federal, state and local laws including adult beverage laws
- Ability to accurately handle cash register
- Ability to climb ladders when required
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures and humidity conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Commitment to ethical conduct and compliance with safety policies
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve guest questions quickly
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adhere to food safety standards and operational procedures
Job Duties
- Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by greeting, smiling, making eye contact, and initiating warm interactions
- Help guests find what they need and resolve issues ensuring a smooth shopping experience
- Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and organizing product
- Follow state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to fulfill digital guest orders accurately and timely
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications on recipe cards
- Maintain and clean the Starbucks space as outlined in best practices
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up and Drive-up while ensuring compliance with beverage laws
- Adjust to business and guest needs to maintain a positive and respectful attitude
- Uphold and maintain execution of Food & Beverage standards
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed Starbucks expectations
- Complete required training and certifications
- Work safely complying with all policies and training
- Handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb ladders, scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely
- Complete all duties as required by business needs
