Job Duties
- Provide flexibility to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays
- Work a full-time or part-time schedule
- Bring mission and values to life for customers and team members while wearing the green apron
- Create the Starbucks experience by providing prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean, comfortable store environment
- Act in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles with integrity, honesty, and knowledge
- Maintain calm demeanor during high volume or unusual events and set a positive example for the shift team
- Anticipate customer and store needs by evaluating the environment and customers
- Communicate information to the manager for team response
- Assist with new partner training by reinforcing successful performance and providing coaching
- Contribute to a positive team environment by recognizing changes in partner morale and performance
- Deliver legendary customer service by prioritizing customers, discovering and responding to their needs
- Follow Starbucks operational policies and procedures including cash handling and safety
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Prepare food and beverages consistently by adhering to recipe and presentation standards
- Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Meet store operating policies and standards
- Engage with and understand customers through clear and pleasant communication
