Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Physical capability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders safely
- Comfortable working in varying temperature environments including cold storage
- Ability to work in spaces where allergens may be present
- Effective communication skills
- Capability to remain active and mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts
- Ability to accurately handle cash register operations as needed
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and technology
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve guest questions quickly
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Ability to remain composed and focused in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by connecting with guests and prioritizing their needs over tasks
- Uphold and maintain food and beverage standards, Starbucks brand standards, and food safety guidelines
- Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, stocking, zoning, rotation, cleaning, signing, and backstock
- Maintain awareness of all promotional activities and follow related routines
- Support Starbucks Drive Up processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain an inviting dining area at all times
- Engage authentically with guests to understand their needs and provide assistance
- Produce items according to specifications and departmental routines
- Monitor and record temperature-sensitive food items per best practices
- Complete cleaning tasks as required and follow packaging and labeling guidelines
- Identify and process damaged, recalled, or expired items appropriately
- Execute inventory procedures to ensure accurate stock levels
- Conduct sampling and promotional best practices
- Adhere to safety and compliance standards at all times
- Support other guest services including backup cashier, order pick up, and drive-up ensuring compliance with legal regulations
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs
