This position focuses on concessions and cash operations duties with a primary responsibility for greeting guests, serving food and beverages, setting up and breaking down concession stands, and maintaining accurate operational counts. The role demands active engagement with customers, handling payments, ensuring supplies and equipment are maintained and stocked, and adhering strictly to food quality, sanitation, and safety regulations. Employees will work in dynamic, guest-facing environments like concession stands, carts, and portables at various events. The position requires staff to regularly lift up to 42 pounds, perform cleaning and preparatory food duties, and manage all elements of concession operations to guarantee smooth service delivery. Job Requirements
- Availability to work nights and weekends as needed
- Ability to remain stationary for 75 percent of the time and move freely when required
- Capacity to operate food and beverage tools and equipment
- Ability to communicate with guests, employees, and management
- Physical ability to frequently lift up to 42 pounds
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Job Qualifications
- Alcohol service certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Food handling certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- Physical ability to lift up to 42 pounds
- Basic math skills for cash handling
Job Duties
- Greet guests and take orders
- Serve food and beverages
- Total receipts and collect payments
- Request proper identification for alcoholic beverage purchases
- Stock and maintain supplies, refrigerators, and dispensers
- Replace soda and CO2 tanks to ensure continuous service
- Transport soiled dishes and glassware to kitchen or breakdown stations
- Sweep and mop floors
- Prepare food items such as pretzels, salads, and sandwiches
- Set up and break down concession stands, carts, and equipment
- Perform all checklist duties including cleaning
- Comply with food quality, sanitation, and safety regulations
- Complete other assigned duties
