Aramark is currently seeking a Concession Stand Worker to join their team. This role is integral to delivering an exceptional guest service experience by preparing and building food items efficiently while maintaining stringent food safety, food handling, alcohol service, and sanitation procedures. The position is typically based in food service locations managed by Aramark, where the environment is dynamic and client requirements vary according to business needs. This role offers a shift rate of $112.10 per seven-hour shift, providing competitive compensation in the food service industry.

The Concession Stand Worker is responsible for interacting courteously with guests, taking food orders, assembling and serving food items, and ensuring that all food preparation adheres to standardized recipes and safety protocols. This role requires setup and breakdown of workstations, including prep tables and service counters, maintaining cleanliness, and sanitizing to meet health standards. Additionally, maintaining adequate food stock levels, running cash registers for payment collection, and ensuring the secure handling of company assets are part of the daily responsibilities. Working under the supervision of a manager, the worker may also be tasked with other duties to support the smooth operation of the concession stand.

Beyond food preparation, the role emphasizes providing excellent guest service by engaging positively and efficiently with customers, anticipating their needs, and maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food service or customer service preferred
  • Ability to obtain food safety certification
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lb occasionally
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must comply with age requirements for alcohol service if applicable
  • Must adhere to company policies and food safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Previous food service experience preferred
  • Must be able to obtain food safety certification
  • Demonstrates positive guest service skills
  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lb
  • May be required to meet state age requirements for serving alcohol
  • May be required to obtain TEAM card at locations that serve and sell alcohol
  • May be required to complete Serve Safe Food Handlers certification
  • Previous guest service experience is a plus
  • Ideal candidate will be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Courteously greets and assists all guests
  • Takes food orders and serves guests
  • Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions
  • Properly stores food by applying food safety policies and procedures
  • Sets up workstations including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, steam tables
  • Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes workstations
  • Serves food to guests while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating the guests' needs
  • Replenishes food items and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels
  • Maintains excellent service, positive demeanor, friendly, efficient, and positive service towards guests, clients, co-workers
  • Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
  • Ensures security of company assets
  • Responsible for running a cash register and collecting payment for sale from guests
  • Reconciles cash to register sales and stand inventory
  • Maintains and implements the Aramark alcohol policy
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
