The Barback role at Aramark is a vital support position within the bar and beverage service team. This role primarily focuses on ensuring that the bar operations run smoothly by maintaining inventory, stocking, cleaning, and helping the bartenders and other staff members as needed. The Barback assists with crucial opening and closing tasks, including restocking garnishes, straws, napkins, and ensuring the availability of clean towels and glassware for bartenders. An essential responsibility includes transporting products efficiently, maintaining inventory accuracy with transfer sheets, and supporting the reorder process to meet business and guest needs consistently.

Additionally, the Barback plays a significant role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across bar workstations and guest service areas. This includes wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping floors, scrubbing coolers, cleaning storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles. The Barback also monitors and maintains bar equipment such as taps and appliances, ensuring proper operation and timely replacement of kegs when necessary.
