The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) role at Houston Methodist is designed for professionals functioning at the Competent to Proficient levels according to Benner's model of clinical practice. The Staff RN provides proficient nursing care by conducting detailed nursing assessments, assisting with examinations and treatments, and ensuring accurate documentation while maintaining medical records for a varied patient population.
