The role of Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health is a crucial position within its retail pharmacy locations. They work closely with Pharmacy Managers, supporting the management and oversight of pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving excellence in medication safety and patient counseling practices. This full-time position involves a dynamic schedule, including nights and weekends, with a typical pay range of $60.00 to $76.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. Staff Pharmacists are key contributors to delivering CVS Health’s promise by managing prescription fulfillment, providing immunizations, coaching pharmacy staff, and fostering a positive patient experience.

At CVS Health, Staff Pharmacists are responsible for leading safe dispensing practices, actively engaging with patients to resolve medication concerns, and collaborating with healthcare providers to support holistic care. They also take a proactive approach in coaching pharmacy technicians and other team members, ensuring adherence to best practices in pharmacy workflow, inventory management, and cold chain product handling.
