The Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health plays a pivotal role within the retail pharmacy team, acting as a role model and leader to cultivate a culture of excellence in pharmacy operations. This position is integral to delivering CVS Health's mission by ensuring safe, compassionate, and personalized care to patients. The Staff Pharmacist supports the Pharmacy Manager in managing and overseeing all aspects of the pharmacy, including operational compliance, staff coaching, and performance management. This role requires a commitment to patient safety through appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices, alongside a dedication to fostering positive patient experiences by demonstrating genuine care and empathy.

As a Staff Pharmacist, you will have direct responsibility for managing pharmacy workflow, ensuring prescription accuracy, and promoting safe medication practices. You will serve as the primary pharmacist on duty when the Pharmacy Manager is not available, stepping up to lead the team, manage inventory, and uphold regulatory compliance. Your duties also include coaching and developing staff to enhance pharmacy performance and patient care quality, actively engaging in immunization efforts, and supporting clinical services like testing and prescribing where permitted.

This full-time position offers a competitive compensation range of $60.00 to $76.00 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, education, and geographic location, and includes eligibility for a bonus or incentive program.
