Job Description
Lee's Marketplace is a reputable family-owned grocery chain dedicated to enhancing the shopping experience for its guests. Rooted in strong community values, the company has built a legacy of providing high-quality products paired with exceptional customer service in a welcoming environment. Lee's Marketplace prioritizes its team members, treating them like family, and fostering a culture where employees feel valued and supported. Serving diverse communities with a focus on integrity and local engagement, the company is proud to expand its footprint in the Vineyard community by managing Bella's grocery store in Utah City. This growth reflects Lee's Marketplace commitment to meeting the needs of the community with convenience and care.
The Pharmacist position at Lee's Marketplace is central to the pharmacy department, embodying a critical healthcare role. This is a licensed healthcare professional position responsible for accurately dispensing medications and providing knowledgeable counseling to guests on the use of prescription and over-the-counter medications. The Pharmacist ensures strict compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and company policies, including those under DEA, HIPAA, and OSHA guidelines. This role supports community health and wellness by administering immunizations (where certified), managing medication inventories, and collaborating with healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will maintain a professional and positive pharmacy environment, supervise pharmacy technicians and interns, and actively participate in community wellness initiatives. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment. By joining Lee's Marketplace, the Pharmacist becomes part of a team that values professionalism, safety, continuous learning, and exceptional guest service — all while upholding Lee's Marketplace unique culture and commitment to "doing what's best for our guests, our team, and our company." This role demands flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, and a strong physical ability to navigate a retail pharmacy setting, handle equipment, and manage inventory. The Pharmacist role is both rewarding and demanding, offering opportunities for professional growth, participation in clinical programs, and meaningful impact on community health.
