Job Requirements

Ability to lift 50 lbs following appropriate safety procedures
Ability to work in an upright standing position for long periods
Ability to crawl in small, tight spaces
Ability to work in different environmental conditions including heat, cold, wind, and rain
Ability to walk and climb stairs
Ability to handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment
Ability to reach with hands and arms
Ability to quickly and easily navigate property and building to meet job functions
Ability to repeat various motions with wrists, hands and fingers
Ability to respond to emergencies promptly
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 3 feet

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency preferred
Previous custodial experience preferred
Multiple language fluency is desirable
Strong customer service skills
Strong communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills

Job Duties

Performs a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs and window cleaning
Informs Supervisor of needed supplies
Maintains all cleaning solutions in accordance with OSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals
Removes trash from premises and assists in emergency cleaning
Utilizes new equipment safely following safety procedures
Maintains friendly and professional attitude
Responsible for maintaining sanitary and cleaning supplies for assigned areas
Inspects all assigned areas daily and reports cleaning and maintenance discrepancies to Supervisor
Ensures security procedures are adhered to at all times
Follows all safety precautions while performing work
Completes daily work orders as scheduled
Maintains assigned equipment in good working condition
Cleans restrooms by sweeping, mopping floors, refilling dispensers, cleaning toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, and counters
Reports discrepancies to supervisor
Ability to respond to emergencies timely
Climbs ladders and works at heights up to 3 feet
