Job Requirements
- Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs
- ability to work in an upright standing position for long periods of time
- ability to walk and climb stairs
- ability to detect auditory and or visual emergency alarms
- ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner
- availability to work Wednesday to Friday 10 am to 7 pm and Saturday and Sunday 8 am to 5 pm
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred
- completion of college level courses with concentration in business or hospitality strongly desirable
- five or more years experience in the hospitality industry
- effective written and verbal communication skills
- proficiency in Word, Excel spreadsheets, and email
- multiple language fluency is desirable
- strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Identify and clarify residents needs and desires
- answer questions
- give directions and instructions
- develop inventories of services
- manage and screen messages
- help residents establish accounts and schedule vendor access
- provide services through planning arrangements and reservations for dining, tours, travel, entertainment, accommodations, rentals, gifts, sporting events, transportation, meetings, secretarial services, couriers, communication and mail services, personal appointments and medical services
- remind residents of schedules
- provide support and assistance
- run errands
- personalize services
- anticipate services required by ascertaining mood and style of residents and developing itineraries
- organize social events and event planning
- improve services by obtaining and evaluating resident feedback
- maintain guest privacy and confidentiality
- update job knowledge through educational opportunities and maintaining networks
- enhance department reputation by exploring new service opportunities
- follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
