Job Requirements

  • at least two years of culinary experience
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • valid food handlers card
  • ability to work full shifts in a fast-paced kitchen
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work well in a team
  • ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • at least two years of culinary experience in a fast-paced environment
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • food handlers card
  • experience with a variety of dining venues such as fine dining, buffets, grill stations, and/or display cooking
  • experience working in a country club or fine dining preferred
  • excellent customer service skills
  • good communication skills
  • ability to memorize information easily
  • ability to follow directions well
  • ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • strong teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • prepare lunch and dinner daily including salads, soups, or sides
  • ensure proper food storage and handling
  • inspect food prep and serving areas regularly for sanitation and safety
  • develop new and exciting meal ideas for staff
  • work as a cohesive member of the culinary team
  • maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
  • operate efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
