This opportunity is for a Cleaner position within ABM, specifically serving as part of the venue cleaning and maintenance team at arenas, sports stadiums, convention centers, or other entertainment venues. This role is crucial in ensuring that assigned areas such as restrooms, suites, concourses, and common guest areas are kept clean and well-stocked throughout events. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene and readiness, which directly impacts guest satisfaction and the overall reputation of the facility.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.00, with the final offer tailored based on the applicant's experience, skills, and alignment with market data. Job Duties

  • Notify manager concerning need for repairs or additions to building systems
  • establish and maintain effective communication with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and managers
  • comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures
  • clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment
  • move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas manually or by using hand trucks
  • clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or cleaners
  • collect, sort and separate all recyclables, compostable and trash
  • maintain clean work area
  • place material in accordance with procedures in compactors
  • obey all safety guidelines and work in a safe manner
  • report all injuries, accidents, and near misses to security and supervisors
  • respond quickly to cleaning requests or issues during events
