Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • No prior related work experience required

Job Duties

  • Provide professional, courteous, and efficient presentation of food and beverage service to guests
  • Clean and set up tables, perform other food service related duties including general cleaning and set up
  • Serve water, bread, and coffee, greet guests by name when possible during meal service
  • Stack trays properly for efficient unloading and ensure proper safety standards
  • Complete closing duties such as storing reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning equipment and areas, restocking, locking refrigerators and doors, and completing daily cleaning checklist
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
  • Inspect cleanliness and presentation of china, glass, and silver prior to use
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using clean-as-you-go practices and adhering to health and safety standards
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to managers and complete safety training
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • Speak clearly and professionally, answer telephones with proper etiquette
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, respond to employee concerns
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
