The role of Guest Service Support Expert at St. Regis Atlanta is a full-time, non-management position designed to support food and beverage operations in a high-volume luxury environment. This role is essential in ensuring that guests encounter more than just quality food and drinks — they experience memorable and unique moments that define the St. Regis brand. The Guest Service Support Expert supports these experiences by handling a variety of operational tasks with efficiency and professionalism. These tasks include setting tables to precise standards, assisting kitchen staff as needed, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in work and dining areas. Additionally, the role involves replenishing supplies proactively to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
This position demands a high level of physical activity, requiring individuals to be on their feet for extended periods and capable of navigating sloping or uneven surfaces safely. The role also demands physical strength to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance. The ability to bend, twist, stoop, and reach overhead or below the knees are critical to perform the duties efficiently.
Guest Service Support Experts must uphold Marriott's rigorous quality standards and company policies, always maintaining professional personal appearance and communication. The role does not require supervisory experience, and, while previous food and beverage experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. - no supervisory experience required
- ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds without assistance and 50 pounds with assistance
