This particular role is for a Test Director to join the Systems Engineering and Test Center, Effectors division, located in Tucson, Arizona. This is an onsite position with flexible work hours to support a work-life balance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end integration and testing lifecycle of U.S. government contracts, ensuring rigorous compliance with specifications through planning, executing, and overseeing lab and field tests. The role demands a solid technical foundation to direct comprehensive test events, including flight test demonstrations and integration verification.

Responsibilities include developing detailed test procedures, coordinating test events with cross-functional teams and customers, and producing documentation for formal reviews such as Test Readiness Reviews, Consents to Ship, and Engineering Safety Review Boards. The Test Director will act as a critical liaison between the test execution team, customer representatives, and program leadership, enabling informed decision-making through reliable data and thorough analysis.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens able to obtain an interim Secret Department of Defense security clearance before the start date. This role offers a competitive salary range from $86,800 to $165,200, commensurate with experience, education, and skill level, and includes opportunities for relocation assistance.
