They offer a broad range of products from snacks and beverages to fresh, frozen, and dairy items, all designed to meet the needs of their diverse guest base, whether it’s snack duty at soccer practice or holiday family gatherings.

This Sr. Sourcing Manager role in Owned Brand Food and Beverages is a vital leadership position on the centralized Food & Beverage team. The successful candidate will work alongside inventive engineers, food scientists, and sourcing managers to conceive, develop, source, and deliver Target's owned-brand food products. The mission centers on maintaining the highest product quality and delivering exceptional value across categories such as dry goods, snacks, beverages, candy, fresh, frozen, and dairy items. The role requires staying current with food industry advancements and consumer trends, ensuring Target remains ahead of the competition by consistently offering taste, quality, and value. This position commands a pay range of $95,000 to $171,000, with compensation dependent on factors such as labor markets, education, experience, and certifications. Target supports and invests in its team members, providing comprehensive health benefits including medical, vision, dental, life insurance, plus 401(k), employee discount, short and long-term disability, paid sick leave, national holidays, and vacation.

As a Sr. Sourcing Manager, you will leverage your business acumen, leadership, negotiation skills, and strategic thinking to build world-class sourcing strategies at the country, vendor, and factory levels. You will create strong partnerships across functions including product development, design, merchandising, planning, responsible sourcing, and quality assurance to deliver owned brand food programs that delight guests. This role requires a deep understanding of costing, negotiation levers, manufacturing processes, and supply chain efficiency in order to drive financial results and optimize value. A hybrid/flexible work arrangement is offered, with time dedicated both onsite at Target's Minnesota headquarters and virtually, reflecting the dynamic nature of the job and team collaboration. Your work will directly influence Target's ability to offer fresh, trend-right merchandise that balances cost, quality, and efficiency.
