The Regulatory Specialist role at FedEx Logistics is a pivotal position responsible for maintaining compliance with government regulations and providing expert guidance on customs brokerage and regulatory matters. This full-time role centers around managing complex regulatory tasks such as overseeing government notices, handling liquidated damages, performing detailed research on customs compliance, and supporting internal and external customers through high-level training and customer service. The specialist acts as a subject matter expert, collaborating with legal teams, management, operations, and governmental bodies to ensure regulations are accurately interpreted and adhered to, thereby protecting the company and its customers.

This position demands a thorough understanding of customs regulations, harmonized tariff schedules, and federal agency laws related to customs brokerage, with a preferred emphasis on post-entry processes. The Regulatory Specialist is tasked with overseeing the handling of important government communications by team members, conducting detailed trend analysis from departmental data to create actionable reports and plans, as well as maintaining and updating brokerage systems in line with government changes. Additionally, the role includes mediating quality referral disputes, preparing internal publications in coordination with the legal department, and providing critical support during compliance reviews.

Ideal candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, possess a valid Broker's License, and be a QDM Apprentice. A minimum of four years of brokerage experience, especially with regulatory expertise, is mandatory. The role requires advanced organizational skills to manage multiple high-volume and time-sensitive assignments efficiently, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail. The position offers a competitive salary range from $4,291.67 to $8,360.33 monthly, depending on experience and location, and includes comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plans, and tuition reimbursement.
