Job Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a leading cloud services provider and a subsidiary of the global e-commerce giant Amazon. AWS offers a broad range of cloud computing services, including storage, networking, machine learning, analytics, and more, facilitating digital transformation for businesses across the globe. The company's Global Executive Marketing (GEM) Hospitality team manages a portfolio of prestigious marketing partnerships that leverage premium hospitality benefits. These partnerships, involving marquee sporting and entertainment events, are designed to create unique opportunities for AWS to engage with its CxO customers and senior leaders, fostering strategic relationships and stimulating business growth. AWS's commitment to innovation, excellent customer service, and inclusion makes it a top employer in the tech industry.

The Senior Program Manager role within AWS's GEM Hospitality team focuses on leading the Global Golf hospitality programs in collaboration with the PGA TOUR and DP World Tour. This is a pivotal position that demands a blend of strategic vision and exceptional execution skills. The incumbent will own the end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of hospitality events that range from exclusive one-day gatherings to extended four-day experiences. The primary goal is to facilitate relationship-building among AWS leaders, customers, and partners through engaging and insightful events centered around sports hospitality.

Responsibilities include curating premium experiences that encompass accommodations, transportation, gifting, exclusive access, and unique surprise elements tailored to deepen executive-level relationships. The role requires managing multiple events simultaneously, balancing competing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and executive leadership, is essential to align event programming with account priorities. On-site hosting and active engagement with C-Suite customers and AWS senior leaders at events across North America are key components of the job, ensuring meaningful interactions that drive business opportunities.

A critical aspect of the role is establishing and tracking program metrics to analyze event outcomes and continuously optimize strategies. The Senior Program Manager will also oversee vendor relationships, manage budgets, and utilize enterprise marketing tools to produce digital assets supporting event initiatives. This position is hands-on, requiring a proactive approach to problem-solving and a meticulous attention to detail to execute events flawlessly.

AWS offers a competitive salary range between $118,200 and $185,000 annually depending on location, with additional compensation including sign-on bonuses and restricted stock units. The company provides comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave, emphasizing a strong support system for employees. AWS is committed to diversity and inclusion, offering accommodations throughout the hiring process and valuing applicants from diverse backgrounds. This role presents a unique opportunity for experienced program managers passionate about sports marketing and hospitality to join a world-class team in a dynamic and innovative environment.
