This is a strategic role requiring you to develop and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic consulting Global System Integrators (GSIs) and System Integrators (SIs), as well as Independent Software Vendor (ISV) technology partners. You will be expected to collaborate effectively with AWS sales teams and customers to create and close revenue-generating opportunities. Your responsibilities will span managing day-to-day partner interactions, co-selling with technology partners, and advancing both business and technical relationships that fuel top-line AWS revenue growth.\n\nSuccessful candidates will bring a blend of business acumen and sales expertise, enabling them to engage with C-level executives and enterprise sales teams. You will be tasked with constructing comprehensive account plans that align internal resources such as sales specialists, partner marketing, business development, and services teams, to seize growth opportunities effectively. Building deep relationships with strategic partners and customers enables you to understand their business and technical needs thoroughly, positioning AWS as the preferred cloud platform. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Seven plus years of technology-related sales or business development experience
- Proven ability to work with partners and manage complex relationships
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and enterprise software landscape
- Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to develop and execute partner account plans and territory coverage strategies
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to meeting revenue targets
Job Qualifications
- Experience working with partners through account, product, or program management and business development engagements
- Seven plus years of technology-related sales, business development, or equivalent experience
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification (preferred)
Job Duties
- Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory within the Retail and CPG sub-industry with multiple account teams and partners
- Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets by helping GSI/SI and ISV partners originate and work with AWS sales teams to close opportunities
- Build deep relationships with customers and strategic partners to understand their business and technical needs
- Develop and execute comprehensive account and territory plans supporting multiple account teams or specific partners
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including sales, services, business development, and partner marketing teams
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key GSI/SI and ISV partners
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services specific to the Retail and CPG sub-industry
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Work with partners to extend reach and drive AWS adoption
- Support consulting partners in solution development through AWS APN programs
- Ensure customer and partner satisfaction
- Provide technical and architectural resources to assist partners in customer engagements and solution delivery
- Drive business development initiatives in partnership with Partner Development, marketing, and GTMS teams
- Manage contract negotiations and AWS funding programs
