With over two decades of leadership in the energy transition, Bloom Energy specializes in providing reliable, affordable, and environmentally sustainable power solutions across various critical industries. Our technologies have been deployed in over 30,000 fuel cell modules worldwide, supporting Fortune 100 companies and other leading innovators. We empower sectors ranging from AI-driven data centers to hospitals, electric grids, manufacturing plants, and utility providers, ensuring operational resilience and energy abundance in a world increasingly challenged by energy scarcity and rising demand.

At Bloom Energy, we foster a culture of collaboration, bold thinking, and relentless innovation. Our commitment is to create a cleaner, more sustainable future while addressing the pressing challenges of the 21st century energy landscape. Joining Bloom means becoming part of a visionary company at the forefront of technological breakthroughs in clean energy.

The Sr. Operations Manager role, based in Cumberland County, NJ, is a full-time, on-site position playing a critical role in the operational success of Bloom Energy’s solid oxide fuel cell installations. The Sr. Operations Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive management of site operations, maintenance, and service delivery at customer locations. This includes ensuring the safe, compliant, and reliable functioning of the Bloom Energy Server, managing 24/7 on-site service responsiveness, troubleshooting, and coordinating field service activities. Key responsibilities encompass leadership in site operations with daily oversight of inspection routines, system monitoring, and reporting to maintain operational discipline and site readiness. This leader will prioritize and coordinate all maintenance activities, both preventive and corrective, ensuring timely and effective execution to maximize system availability. In addition, the role requires active management of system performance metrics such as power output, efficiency, fuel use, and fault diagnostics, working with engineering teams to address any deviations or recurring issues.

The Sr. Operations Manager is also charged with leading safety and compliance efforts, including implementing environmental health and safety standards, conducting safety briefings and audits, and maintaining readiness for regulatory inspections. Customer communication is a vital element, requiring proactive updates on maintenance schedules, outage notifications, and performance highlights to build and sustain strong relationships.

Moreover, this role involves performance management, driving continual improvements in system reliability and operational efficiency by analyzing incidents and enforcing corrective actions. Vendor and contractor coordination is essential to ensure quality and timely service delivery, alongside managing resources such as spare parts and consumables.

The role offers a competitive salary range of $178,800 to $257,200, reflecting the importance and expertise required for this pivotal position in advancing clean energy solutions.
