This role is for a CBRE Meeting & Events Senior Coordinator based in Santa Clara, CA, requiring full onsite presence Monday through Friday. As a Senior Coordinator, you will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and executing meetings, conferences, and events to deliver high-quality experiences that align with client expectations. This encompasses overseeing all aspects of food, beverage, and service setup, collaborating with management to ensure departmental goals align with client visions, and managing event logistics from pre-event setup to post-event follow-up.
The position demands excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot event challenges and handle complex client inquiries and escalated complaints efficiently. You will be expected to execute service-level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and benchmarks, maintaining stringent quality standards through recurring reports and data analysis. Managing the events calendar and ensuring optimal use of event spaces, maintaining sufficient inventory of event supplies, and fostering a collaborative environment through cross-team cooperation are key components of the job.
Candidates for the role should have at least a high school diploma or GED and 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in event planning or coordination. Strong organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, advanced math skills, and exceptional communication abilities are essential. The ability to meet physical job requirements such as standing, walking, stooping, and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs is necessary. Experience in managing client relationships and delivering high client satisfaction levels will be highly valued.

Job Duties
- Oversee setup, refresh, and breakdown of food, beverage, and service items
- Collaborate with management to align event execution with client vision
- Confirm pre-event setup including space configurations and audio/visual requirements
- Follow up with clients pre- and post-event to confirm satisfaction and gather feedback
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex client inquiries and escalated complaints
- Assist in executing SLAs, KPIs, benchmarks, and recurring reports
- Manage meeting and events calendar ensuring optimal utilization
- Order and manage event supplies and inventory
- Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems
