The Sr. Marketing Coordinator, reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, plays a critical role in driving the marketing efforts necessary to promote the image and offerings of The Ranch Events Complex. This position is essential in developing and coordinating the marketing strategy, media and public relations, sponsorship, advertising initiatives, promotional activities, graphic design, and the development of marketing assets. The role also involves maintaining and enhancing the venue's digital presence, including the website and social media channels. The Sr. Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting various marketing initiatives that align with The Ranch Events Complex's goals and community engagement efforts.

This full-time hourly role offers competitive pay ranging from $24.00 to $26.44 per hour and includes comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) savings with matching contributions, and paid time off including vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays. The role requires flexibility in working hours with availability for nights, weekends, and select holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of event marketing in a busy venue environment.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess a strong background in marketing, with 2-3+ years of progressive experience preferred, especially within the event industry. A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Event Management is desired. The candidate must bring comprehensive knowledge of marketing tactics, advertising, public relations, and digital marketing strategies. Additionally, they should have excellent graphic design skills, proficient in Photoshop and Microsoft Office applications, and comfortable navigating all social media platforms. Effective written and verbal communication skills, including a familiarity with Associated Press Writing Style, are essential for success.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Utilize sales and marketing principles to promote the venue and remain current with emerging marketing trends, tactics, strategies and technologies
  • Assist in public relations efforts such as media releases, story pitches, media drops
  • Research projects/upcoming events to assist in creating marketing plans and strategies, such as advertising materials, promotions, grassroots, interactive efforts, and public relations for events
  • Maintain venue's website and create editorial, blog, and news of the venue
  • Assist with in-house promotional vehicles, including in-event display boards, general signage
  • Maintain the venue's email marketing program and social media accounts
  • focus on database acquisition and lead generation
  • Participate in the development and implementation of annual marketing goals, objectives, policies, and priorities
  • Work with internal and external key stakeholders, under the guidance of the Director of Marketing, to maximize marketing resources while maintaining brand integrity for the venue
  • Assist the Director of Marketing in the preparation of monthly corporate marketing reports and participate in monthly conference calls with other Oak View Group Venue Management entities
  • Maintain working relationships with all media representatives, civic and industry organizations, corporate promotional contacts, and event and booking representatives
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
