Hyatt is recognized not only for its innovative and quality accommodations but also for fostering a culture of inclusivity, empathy, and respect among its employees and guests. The company has earned a place on Fortune's 100 Best Companies to Work For list for the past ten years, reflecting its dedication to a positive work environment where colleagues thrive as a family. Hyatt is continuously expanding, opening new hotels and launching new brands, creating dynamic career opportunities within a fast-growing and resilient hospitality sector.
The position of Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives is a pivotal role within Hyatt’s Commercial Strategy, Insights, and PMO team. This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of $130,000 to $160,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus, aligning with the candidate's experience and qualifications. The Senior Manager will lead key strategic and operational initiatives, driving the performance and readiness of Hyatt hotels during openings, conversions, and ongoing commercial operations. Reporting to senior leadership, this role encompasses developing analytical frameworks, uncovering insights from complex data sets, and translating these into actionable strategies to optimize brand and commercial activation.
The ideal candidate will collaborate across multiple departments such as Development, Commercial Onboarding, Design & Construction, Openings & Conversions, Ramp Strategy, Commercial Performance Optimization, Brand, and Enterprise Analytics. Key responsibilities include tracking and analyzing hotel opening and conversion performance, identifying risks and readiness gaps, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance commercial and brand success. The Senior Manager will design and maintain essential dashboards, scorecards, and measurement tools that reflect milestones in hotel activation and brand integration.
This role demands a leader who is not only analytically strong but also capable of influencing a range of stakeholders to implement strategic initiatives. They will support brand strategy deployment by offering data-driven insights, partnering with commercial and operational teams to improve activation outcomes, and collaborate with enterprise analytics to develop scalable reporting solutions. Preparing executive-level presentations and participating in cross-functional projects are also integral to the position.
Hyatt emphasizes caring for its employees through exceptional benefits including paid time off, medical, dental, vision insurance plans, 401K with company match, flexible work schedules, well-being initiatives like complimentary Headspace subscriptions, fitness center discounts, and a global family assistance policy that supports paid leave and financial aid for adoption. These benefits underscore Hyatt’s dedication to creating a balanced and supportive work environment that enables employees to excel personally and professionally.
Working at Hyatt means embracing its core values of Empathy, Inclusion, Integrity, Experimentation, Respect, and Wellbeing. Candidates who are results-oriented, enjoy collaborative environments, and are motivated by opportunities for growth will find themselves at home in this role. The company encourages applications from professionals who may not meet all listed qualifications but are inspired to grow and make a significant impact at Hyatt. Join Hyatt in shaping memorable experiences for guests, while driving the future of hospitality through strategic insights and innovation.
