The role at Performance Team focuses on managing multiple large-scale operations related to the development and delivery of the company’s products and services. This manager position involves overseeing all aspects of operations, including business planning, production, quality control, budget management, and customer requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping distribution center operations through developing detailed business plans, implementing process improvements, and ensuring that all established performance metrics regarding cost, quality, and delivery are met. This leadership role requires coordination between different organizational functions and external suppliers to maximize the effective use of resources such as personnel, machinery, and equipment. The individual will also be responsible for reviewing production reports, resolving operational challenges, and orchestrating administrative activities vital to warehouse operations.
Supervisory responsibilities include managing managers who oversee departments such as special projects, shipping and receiving, packing, order processing, routing, inventory and auditing, and customer service. Ensuring compliance with company policies, government regulations, and customer requirements is fundamental to this role. The manager will lead hiring, training, performance management, and employee relations efforts, promoting a positive working environment and upholding high standards of safety and efficiency. This position operates primarily on the 2nd shift, working Friday through Monday from 5 PM to 3:30 AM.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Five to ten years of related experience or training
- Experience with P&L management
- Ability to lead and supervise multiple departments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 2nd shift Friday through Monday from 5 PM to 3:30 AM

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS)
- Five to ten years of related experience or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Various levels of P&L experience desired
- Spanish speaking skills a plus
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Strong knowledge of warehousing, logistics, and distribution operations
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Job Duties
- Develops and maintains distribution center operations business plans including programs, P&L, and customer requirements
- Provides input to the development of customer relationship strategy
- Establishes production and quality control standards and develops budget and cost controls
- Provides guidance for distribution center process planning including personnel, materials, safety, facilities, equipment, and customer-specific needs
- Ensures all costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met
- Coordinates processing activities with organization functions and suppliers to optimize production and resource use
- Reviews production and operating reports and directs resolution of operational issues to minimize costs and delays
- Performs administrative management of warehouse operations including data compilation and reporting
- Determines responsibilities for assigned organization and staff positions to achieve business objectives
- Trains and ensures employees comply with company, government, and customer policies and regulations
- Manages subordinate managers in departments including special projects, shipping and receiving, packing, order processing, routing, inventory, auditing, and customer service
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities such as hiring, training, performance appraisal, and employee relations in accordance with company policies and laws
