Job Description

Performance Team is a dynamic company that champions a culture rooted in honesty and integrity. This core value fosters trust not only among customers but also within the team of employees, creating a supportive and reliable work environment. The company is deeply committed to its people, valuing their contribution and ensuring that their work experience is positive and rewarding. This emphasis on a people-first culture is what differentiates Performance Team from its competitors and is the key reason customers continuously prefer to collaborate with them.

Performance Team operates within the logistics and warehousing sector, specializing in comprehensive distribution solutions. The company manages a network of strategically located storage facilities that are fully equipped to handle every aspect of cargo management—from receiving and storing to processing and dispatching goods. This capability ensures that the company can maintain flexibility and resilience throughout the supply chain, responding effectively to risks and unexpected challenges that arise.

The integrated logistics solutions offered by Performance Team leverage extensive knowledge of various industries, sectors, and transportation modes. This breadth of expertise enables the company to optimize operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs for clients. The result is enhanced supply chain management that meets lead time requirements and achieves key distribution goals despite unpredictable conditions.

The role being offered within Performance Team is a leadership position that involves managing multiple large-scale warehouse and distribution operations. This position includes overseeing all activities related to the operations and development of the company’s products, ensuring that business objectives are met through both direct involvement and the supervision of subordinate teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive business plans that incorporate all company programs, profit and loss (P&L) considerations, and customer requirements.

In this executive operations role, the individual will contribute to shaping the company’s customer relationship strategies and will set high standards for production and quality control. Budgeting and cost control responsibilities are key elements of the job, alongside the collection and analysis of vital operational data such as product types, quantities, and delivery schedules.

Leadership in designing and implementing effective distribution center processes is essential. This includes personnel planning, material acquisition, safety compliance, facility and equipment needs, and customer-specific adaptations. The manager will ensure that all commitments related to costs, quality, and delivery are consistently satisfied.

Collaboration across organizational functions and with external suppliers is important to maximize resource utilization, encompassing human resources, machinery, and equipment. The role also involves administrative duties such as compiling and managing production data to facilitate accurate reporting and operational oversight. Establishing and assigning clear responsibilities within the team is crucial to achieving business targets.

Training and compliance form a major part of the job, with the manager required to ensure team members adhere to company policies, government regulations, and customer standards. Supervision extends to multiple subordinate managers overseeing departments such as Special Projects, Shipping and Receiving, Packing, Order Processing, Routing, Inventory and Auditing, and Customer Service. This broad supervisory scope demands strategic coordination, performance evaluation, and staff development.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and approximately five to ten years of relevant experience or an equivalent mix of education and training. Experience managing profit and loss is highly desired, and bilingual Spanish skills are considered a plus. The role operates on a first-shift schedule from Sunday to Wednesday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Compensation ranges between $105,000 and $110,000 annually, subject to adjustment based on market conditions and location. Performance Team offers a robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, and flexible work schedules when possible, underscoring their commitment to employee well-being and support.

Performance Team is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity and inclusion. They embrace a variety of perspectives and welcome applicants regardless of race, gender, age, religion, disability, or any legally protected characteristics.
