As Rhode Island FC gears up for upcoming seasons, it is dedicated to cultivating a dynamic and winning culture that resonates deeply with fans across the local and regional landscape. The organization is seeking a Sr. Marketing Manager/Director to oversee marketing initiatives supporting both the club and Centreville Bank Stadium events. This full-time role, which involves leading fan engagement efforts and driving ticket sales growth, reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing & Communications. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping brand identity, deepening fan relationships, and implementing integrated marketing strategies that span digital, experiential, and community platforms.

In this position, the successful candidate will develop and execute annual marketing plans geared toward growing awareness, engagement, and attendance for RIFC home games and events at Centreville Bank Stadium. The role demands creativity combined with data-driven insight to build campaigns that inspire fandom and boost ticket sales for season tickets, mini-plans, and single-game purchases. Managing the club’s digital fan platforms—including the website, mobile app, and CRM systems—is a key responsibility to ensure a seamless and engaging experience.

Additionally, the Sr. Marketing Manager/Director will manage the fan database to deliver personalized communications and leverage storytelling techniques to highlight pivotal moments like club milestones, player stories, and stadium events. The role also involves supporting local community engagement and grassroots soccer initiatives to further embed the club within Rhode Island’s culture.

Aside from marketing strategy and fan engagement, the candidate will lead performance marketing efforts by planning, executing, and analyzing paid digital campaigns across various channels. Using analytics, this role evaluates campaign effectiveness, optimizes marketing spend, and reports key performance indicators related to ticket sales and fan interaction.

Cross-functional collaboration forms an integral part of the role, with the candidate partnering closely with creative, social media, ticket sales, partnership marketing, and operations teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and enhance the overall fan experience. The position requires a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about soccer, live-event culture, and community engagement. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays during event seasons is essential.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
