The Senior Maintenance Mechanic role at BJ's Wholesale Club is a critical position responsible for maintaining all powered equipment and ensuring the overall safety and functionality of the warehouse environment. This role requires a hands-on approach to equipment maintenance including forklifts, pallet jacks, sweepers, scrubbers, tuggers, and clamp attachments. The Senior Maintenance Mechanic must be able to identify and repair mechanical issues spanning pneumatic, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical systems. Additionally, the role includes general cleanliness and upkeep of the warehouse, restrooms, and office areas, ensuring that all spaces reflect a safe and professional standard. This position often serves as a key trouble-shooter, working closely with the Maintenance Manager to prioritize and manage workload efficiently and to follow up on outstanding issues. The ideal candidate is proactive, technically skilled, and capable of using maintenance programs including lockout/tagout procedures and hazardous materials protocols safely and effectively. Operating powered equipment safely and competently is also a major component of the daily responsibilities.

The role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $24.00 to $28.80, dependent on experience and qualifications.
