The Senior Food Service Worker / Assistant Supervisor position at Bedrock is a pivotal role that supports daily dining operations in an active and fast-moving food service setting. This service and maintenance role involves comprehensive duties that range from food preparation and production to cash handling and customer interaction. The position is designed for an individual who thrives under general supervision and is capable of managing multiple responsibilities with attention to detail and leadership. An essential part of the role is supervising the food service team, ensuring operational standards are consistently met, and supporting the coordination of daily workflow. The Assistant Supervisor assists senior staff with overseeing inventory, ordering supplies, managing cash register transactions, and maintaining the quality and safety of food from kitchen to customer. The role is critical during regular service hours as well as during special events such as home football game days, making flexibility and dependability key attributes. Scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with duties extending to event days and campus closures, this position offers a targeted salary of $15.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, and is benefits eligible. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or graduate of culinary school
- 12 months of restaurant/customer service experience
- Ability to obtain a Food Handlers License
- Availability to work Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, including home football game days and campus closures
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced food service environment
- Ability to perform cash handling and operate a register
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or graduate of culinary school
- 12 months of restaurant/customer service experience
- Ability to obtain a Food Handlers License
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities

Job Duties
- Prepares food according to recipes
- Ensures optimal quality of food from preparation to serving
- Performs cash handling, including running a register
- Orders food products based on food consumption and inventory records
- Oversees and maintains inventory records for all items
- Determines work priorities and assigns work to Food Service Workers and student employees
- Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the functions of the position
