The Senior Field Marketing Event Manager role at Ashby is a pivotal position designed to lead the planning and execution of impactful field marketing events across the Americas. With a focus on Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts, the role demands strategic vision aligned with meticulous operational execution. Responsibilities include overseeing high-profile events such as private suites at major venues, intimate dinners, and large-scale conferences, ensuring every touchpoint reflects Ashby’s commitment to thoughtful, human-centered experiences. As a critical liaison between Sales, Marketing, Demand Generation, and Design teams, the Senior Field Marketing Event Manager will ensure brand and messaging consistency while driving attendee engagement and satisfaction.

The successful candidate will manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and foster enduring relationships with vendors and partners, constantly aiming to maximize return on investment. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience in event or field marketing event management
  • strong project management skills
  • excellent verbal and written communication
  • proficiency in relevant software and event management tools
  • ability to travel monthly within the Americas region
  • experience with budget oversight and contract negotiation
  • comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • located near a major East or West Coast hub

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field preferred
  • minimum of 5 years’ experience in event marketing or field marketing event management
  • proven track record managing corporate events, ideally in tech or SaaS industries
  • strong project management and organizational skills
  • experience collaborating cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and design teams
  • excellent vendor negotiation and budget management capabilities
  • proficiency in event technology platforms and marketing software
  • exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with keen attention to detail
  • creative problem-solving abilities and refined design sensibility

Job Duties

  • Plan and execute highly curated events in the Americas region designed to deepen relationships with customers and prospects
  • foster and maintain meaningful relationships with customers and prospects to support growth
  • coordinate cross-functionally with marketing, demand generation, sales, and design to ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment
  • design and document scalable playbooks to maintain brand excellence across markets
  • create and maintain detailed event documentation including briefs, timelines, run-of-shows, staffing, travel plans, and post-event debriefs
  • serve as the on-site event lead managing setup, live event coordination, and teardown
  • track and analyze performance metrics such as attendance, net promoter score, pipeline influence, engagement, and ROI to inform future events
