Ashby Inc is a dynamic company specializing in talent acquisition software designed to revolutionize and streamline the hiring process for businesses. Since its inception, Ashby has grown significantly, establishing a reputation for delivering innovative solutions that enhance recruitment efficiency and promote fairness and transparency in hiring. As a technology-driven startup in the HR tech space, Ashby prides itself on its commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and customer-centric approaches, supporting thousands of clients including high-profile companies such as Notion, Linear, Shopify, and Snowflake. Their rapid growth trajectory is evidenced by tens of millions in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), exceptional year-over-year growth exceeding 100%, and a robust customer retention rate with very low churn.
The company's core value lies in not only creating cutting-edge recruitment software but also fostering a workplace culture where employees are empowered, challenged, and supported. Ashby has a strong focus on equity, transparency, and making hiring experiences equitable through its platform while embracing artificial intelligence to enhance its internal recruitment processes. The company offers competitive salary packages, equity options, and extensive employee benefits including unlimited paid time off, family leave, and comprehensive health insurance coverage for U.S. employees.
The role being offered is for a Senior Field Marketing Event Manager based in the AMER region, a pivotal position within Ashby’s marketing team. This role involves the operational execution and strategic development of field marketing events that crucially enhance Ashby’s brand presence and deepen customer engagement, primarily targeting mid-market and enterprise clients. Events are viewed at Ashby as more than mere gatherings; they are vital brand moments that showcase the company’s commitment to thoughtful, human-centered experiences that connect, inspire, and build a thriving community.
Within this senior management position, the person is expected to bring a balanced skill set of creative vision and operational excellence. They will lead end-to-end event management, from the ideation phase through to execution, including logistical coordination, budget oversight, vendor negotiation, and on-site leadership. The role demands a meticulous organizer and a creative thinker adept at aligning event goals with sales and demand generation strategies, crafting scalable playbooks, and driving measurable business impact.
Ashby’s events portfolio is diverse and high-profile, ranging from grand user conferences and private suites at world-class venues like the U.S. Open and FIFA World Cup, to intimate dinners and experiential brand activations. The Senior Field Marketing Event Manager will build strong cross-functional partnerships internally with marketing, sales, design teams, and externally with suppliers and agencies to ensure every event reinforces Ashby’s brand values and delivers ROI.
This role suits a professional who thrives at the intersection of creative designing and strategic, detail-oriented execution. It requires a proactive, relationship-driven mindset, confidence in contract negotiation, and the ability to travel regularly across key U.S. East and West Coast hubs. The company promotes a collaborative and supportive work environment, encourages professional development, and fosters a culture where events are key drivers of business growth and brand loyalty.
Ashby is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds to contribute to its innovative team. The hiring process is designed to be fair and transparent, emphasizing candidate quality and potential fit with Ashby's values and operating principles.
