Job Description

Canyon Ranch has been a pioneering leader in wellness since its inception in 1979. Renowned for its dedication to inspiring personal transformation and promoting a holistic wellness lifestyle, Canyon Ranch offers immersive experiences that support guests in achieving their goals of living younger, longer. The company operates distinguished wellness destination resorts located in Tucson, Arizona; Lenox, Massachusetts; and an upcoming location in Austin, Texas, set to open in the fall of 2026. These resorts provide guests with carefully curated lifestyle events and wellness programming that elevate the overall wellness journey. Furthermore, Canyon Ranch operates the largest day spa in North America, located at The Venetian hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, renowned for its exceptional spa services and recognized as a 13-time winner of Travel + Leisure’s Best Spa Award and an 11-time recipient of the Condé Nast Traveler Best Destination Spa Award. Both resort locations have received acclaim, being listed in the 2019 U.S. News & World Report Best Hotels rankings, which underscores the company’s commitment to excellence in wellness hospitality.

The role of the Sr. Events Manager at Canyon Ranch is integral to upholding the company’s renowned reputation for service and guest satisfaction. This dynamic position is responsible for leading the planning and execution of group events from pre-arrival through on-site coordination. The Sr. Events Manager acts as the primary on-property liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and flawless event delivery. Key responsibilities include coordinating logistics such as audiovisual requirements, food and beverage services, wellness programming, and vendor management to guarantee every event runs smoothly and exceeds guest expectations. The role involves creating and managing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and group resumes, leading weekly planning meetings alongside operational departments, and collaborating closely with Sales, Programming, and Operations teams to uphold the highest service standards. Given the nature of resort operations, the position requires a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays. The Sr. Events Manager supervises the Conference Services Manager and Conference Services Technicians and reports directly to the Director of Operations. Experience with platforms such as Delphi and Sales Force, along with proficiency in BEO creation, is essential. Previous experience in hospitality is preferred, helping to fortify Canyon Ranch’s longstanding tradition of exceptional guest service. This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; 25 paid days off annually; free health club membership with access to over 60 fitness classes; a variety of wellness lectures and workshops; and 60 percent off on spa and wellness services. Canyon Ranch’s work environment promotes a balanced professional and personal life while embracing the spirit of wellness and continuous learning.
