Job Description

Lucky Strike Entertainment, formerly known as Bowlero Corp, stands as one of the foremost location-based entertainment platforms globally. With a robust presence spanning over 360 venues across North America, Lucky Strike Entertainment curates an extensive array of experiential entertainment options including bowling, amusements, water parks, and family entertainment centers. The company also holds ownership of the Professional Bowlers Association, the premier bowling league and a dynamic media property with millions of enthusiasts worldwide. This extensive footprint underscores Lucky Strike Entertainment's commitment to delivering unique and engaging leisure experiences to a diverse audience, ranging from casual visitors to dedicated fans of competitive bowling.

As a Senior Event Sales Specialist based at Lucky Strike Chicago, your role is pivotal in driving the business's group events and corporate gatherings. Operating in a hybrid work environment, with the expectation to be on-site three times per week, you will engage with clients to secure bookings from modest-sized groups to large-scale events exceeding 100 guests. This role demands a high degree of professionalism and executive presence, reinforced by a company-wide camera-first policy during virtual interactions, ensuring that every communication exudes the brand's polished and professional image.

Your responsibilities will encompass the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting through to closing contracts and overseeing event execution. You will skillfully navigate complex multi-stakeholder sales environments, offering customized venue and package recommendations that align with client objectives and group sizes. Building and sustaining relationships within your designated territory is essential, as you work to expand your portfolio of high-value accounts through consistent outreach and excellent service.

In addition to managing your sales pipeline and pursuing quarterly quotas with tiered commission structures, you will collaborate closely with venue operations teams to guarantee that each event runs flawlessly. This entails leading Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings and ensuring thorough preparation and follow-through from contract signing to the day of the event. Your role also extends to post-event engagement aimed at fostering client retention, generating repeat business, and expanding referral networks.

Flexibility is critical in this role, particularly regarding schedule, as evenings, weekends, and holidays are peak periods requiring your active involvement. The ideal candidate will bring a proven history in group or event sales within hospitality or related sectors, demonstrating success in managing complex events and closing deals with multiple decision-makers. Superior communication skills, adaptability, and a client-centric approach are essential attributes.

Lucky Strike Entertainment supports its employees with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision plans tailored to individual needs, 401(k) retirement options, employee stock purchase programs, and wellness resources. Perks include discounted access to bowling, Boomers, water parks, retail, and special events. These offerings underscore the company’s commitment to employee well-being and career development, making it an attractive choice for professionals passionate about events and sales in an exciting entertainment setting.
