The Sr Event Planner at Rite-Hite plays a crucial role in creating impactful event experiences that align with the company’s brand and strategic business goals. This position involves comprehensive event management responsibilities ranging from initial conception and strategic design to execution and post-event evaluation. The Sr Event Planner acts as a creative leader and a trusted advisor, partnering with internal stakeholders and executives to deliver memorable and strategically aligned meetings, offsite conferences, and special events. The role demands advanced event strategy expertise, excellent communication skills, creative problem-solving, and the ability to manage complex logistics with precision.

The Sr Event Planner will lead the sourcing and management of high-level vendors, negotiate contracts, oversee budgets, and ensure compliance with company standards and fiscal responsibility. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, communications, or related field
- 7+ years progressively responsible experience in corporate meetings or hospitality management
- Demonstrated vendor and budget management expertise
- Strong strategic thinking and alignment with business objectives
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage complex logistics and stakeholder relationships
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) preferred or willingness to earn
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, communications, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate meetings, events, or hospitality management
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to align events with business goals
- Demonstrated vendor and budget management expertise
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) preferred or willingness to obtain
- Experience mentoring staff or leading vendors
- Knowledge of Global Distribution Systems (GDS) is a plus
- Participation in industry organizations like MPI or PCMA is a plus
Job Duties
