Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, communications, or related field
- 7+ years progressively responsible experience in corporate meetings or hospitality management
- Demonstrated vendor and budget management expertise
- Strong strategic thinking and alignment with business objectives
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage complex logistics and stakeholder relationships
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) preferred or willingness to earn
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, communications, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate meetings, events, or hospitality management
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to align events with business goals
- Demonstrated vendor and budget management expertise
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) preferred or willingness to obtain
- Experience mentoring staff or leading vendors
- Knowledge of Global Distribution Systems (GDS) is a plus
- Participation in industry organizations like MPI or PCMA is a plus
Job Duties
- Serve as a creative resource by generating fresh event ideas
- Partner with stakeholders to align events with business objectives
- Advise executives on event feasibility and budgeting
- Lead end-to-end event planning and execution
- Manage complex logistics including venue, transportation, and accommodations
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and relationships
- Provide on-site and virtual event management ensuring flawless execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide post-event reporting and recommendations
