Job Description
Amazon is a global leader in e-commerce and technology, renowned for its innovative approach to solving complex logistical challenges and delivering exceptional customer experiences worldwide. As a pioneering force in the B2C logistics arena, Amazon Shipping & Freight is at the forefront of building new business ventures in shipping and freight, strategically addressing some of the most significant opportunities in the logistics industry. This dynamic division operates across North America and Europe, leveraging technology and innovative event marketing strategies to connect with enterprises and large e-commerce retail organizations.
The Amazon Shipping & Freight Event Marketing team seeks a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Event Marketing Manager to drive growth and engagement through industry events, partnerships, and owned internal and external events. This role is designed for a creative, analytical, and hands-on professional with a proven track record in successfully managing industry events and marketing partnerships. Enthusiastic about the logistics and technology sectors, the ideal candidate will bring strategic vision and operational excellence to Amazon's expanding portfolio of brands.
The Event Marketing Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing event strategies that attract and engage key stakeholders in the logistics and e-commerce sectors. This includes collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams such as content creation, commercial, and legal departments, as well as coordinating with multiple other Amazon event teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment of marketing initiatives. The role demands agility and creativity to differentiate Amazon’s presence in a rapidly evolving marketplace while driving measurable results.
Success in this position is defined by the ability to manage complex, results-driven marketing campaigns, leveraging financial literacy and stakeholder management skills to optimize performance. The candidate will be expected to balance long-term strategic planning with the tactical execution of campaigns that accelerate lead readiness for sales teams. Key responsibilities encompass managing budgets, timelines, and comprehensive event projects while engaging external agencies and partners.
The role also emphasizes the use of data-driven insights to enhance campaign effectiveness, requiring proficiency in tools for data analysis, such as Excel and Tableau. Through detailed reporting and dashboard creation, the Event Marketing Manager will provide visibility into campaign outcomes and continuously refine strategies for maximum impact. Additionally, the role involves the development of automated processes to improve operational efficiency across all event elements.
Amazon values diversity and inclusion, fostering a workplace culture where all employees can thrive and deliver the best results for customers. Accommodations for disabilities are provided as part of the inclusive hiring and onboarding process.
This position is based in Bellevue, Washington, and offers a competitive salary ranging from $118,200 to $160,000 annually, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave. Amazon’s compensation package also features sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs), offering significant opportunity for long-term rewards and career growth within a fast-paced, innovative environment.
