Job Description
Innovative Captive Strategies (ICS) is a dynamic and growing company specializing in delivering comprehensive event management solutions with a focus on client events, captive meetings, conferences, and travel programs. As a pivotal part of the Holmes Murphy & Associates family, ICS leverages its expertise to create impactful and memorable experiences designed to meet the strategic goals of its clients and industry partners. Established within the hospitality and event management sector, ICS values innovation, collaboration, and excellence, aiming to continuously elevate the standards of event delivery. The company prides itself on a culture that supports professional growth, inclusion, and a work-life balance for its employees.
The role of Senior Event Manager at ICS is an exciting opportunity for seasoned professionals with a passion for orchestrating seamless events and fostering strong client relationships. This full-time position demands a strategic thinker and meticulous organizer capable of managing complex logistics from concept through completion. The Senior Event Manager will be responsible for the full scope of event planning activities, including the negotiation and management of vendor contracts, budget oversight, venue selection, and on-site event execution. Strong leadership skills and the ability to navigate challenges under pressure are critical, as the individual will lead a diverse team and work closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
This position also requires an innovative approach to identifying new venues, creating engaging attendee experiences, and integrating technology tools like Cvent and Canva for communications and registrations. Candidates will benefit from a work environment that encourages initiative, creativity, and continuous professional development supported by company-paid continuing education and tuition reimbursement programs. Travel is a key component of the role, involving both domestic and international trips to execute events and build client relationships. ICS offers a competitive salary structure, commensurate with experience, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid parental leave, 401k profit sharing, and generous paid time off policies.
Joining ICS means becoming part of a forward-thinking company that values diversity, equity, and inclusion through its Uniquely United programs and employee resource groups. The company fosters a supportive workplace culture where personal and professional growth are prioritized alongside delivering exceptional event experiences. The Senior Event Manager will play a vital role in advancing ICS's mission to provide top-tier event management services that exceed client expectations and contribute meaningfully to the captive insurance and broader industry communities.
