Job Description

Klaviyo is a leading technology company specializing in providing marketing automation and data analytics solutions that empower businesses to own their customer interactions and deliver personalized experiences. As a fast-growing SaaS organization, Klaviyo is dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where team members, known internally as Klaviyos, bring their unique perspectives and experiences to drive innovation and success. The company emphasizes equal opportunity and non-discrimination, valuing diverse backgrounds beyond traditional job requirements, and encourages candidates who may not be exact matches but are passionate to apply. With a strong commitment to employee development and well-being, Klaviyo offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a culture that nurtures creativity and collaboration. Their product and service offerings focus on harnessing first-party data to transform ecommerce and other industries through actionable insights, enabling brands to engage customers more effectively.

The role of Senior Events Coordinator at Klaviyo sits within the Brand, Creative, and Events team and centers around driving the strategic planning and execution of major events where Klaviyo showcases its brand and marketing capabilities. This position is essential in orchestrating Klaviyo's presence at premier third-party industry events such as Shoptalk Spring, eTail West, and NRF, while also playing a supportive role in organizing the company’s flagship user conference, K: Boston. Reporting directly to the Director of Event Marketing, the Senior Events Coordinator will be responsible for creating comprehensive tradeshow strategies that enhance brand awareness, enable lead generation, and deepen engagement with the Klaviyo community.

The scope of this role goes well beyond managing event logistics. It involves close partnership across multiple departments including marketing, sales, customer success, and product marketing to ensure alignment with broader go-to-market goals. The Senior Events Coordinator owns key operational aspects such as timelines, budgets, vendor management, and on-site coordination, maintaining a high level of precision and attention to detail. Furthermore, the role demands a balance of analytical evaluation and creative innovation, encouraging experimentation with bold and memorable event activations that resonate with attendees. Through rigorous planning, promotional efforts, lead capture tactics, and post-event follow-up, the Senior Events Coordinator plays a pivotal part in driving Klaviyo’s growth and reputation in the industry.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced events professional with at least five years of hands-on event management experience, preferably within a fast-paced B2B SaaS or technology company. The successful candidate will be an exceptional communicator, adept at engaging senior leaders and customers alike, and possess natural collaboration skills to build strong cross-functional relationships. The role demands a proactive, self-motivated project manager who can confidently juggle multiple priorities with care and professionalism, especially under high-stakes and high-visibility event conditions. Candidates who are tech-savvy with proficiency in AI tools, Salesforce, and event management platforms like Splash or Swoogo, and who demonstrate flexibility to quickly learn new technologies, will thrive in this position.

Klaviyo offers a competitive base salary ranging from $92,000 to $138,000 USD for this role across US locations, reflecting local cost of labor and individual qualifications. In addition to base compensation, the total rewards package includes annual bonus opportunities, equity participation, sign-on payments, and a robust suite of health and wellness benefits. The role may require up to 10 percent travel for onboarding, client engagements, team meetings, and event attendance, all coordinated in advance with the candidate. Joining Klaviyo means becoming part of a vibrant community of creators dedicated to pushing boundaries and delivering customer delight through innovation and teamwork. If you are eager to contribute your event expertise to a growing technology leader, Klaviyo invites you to apply and become part of a company that values authenticity, creativity, and continuous professional growth.
