Job Description
Subway Headquarters is the global support center for one of the world’s most iconic restaurant brands, Subway. As a dedicated team of professionals, Subway Headquarters plays a critical role in supporting thousands of franchisees around the globe. With a commitment to fostering growth, strengthening the brand, and delivering long-term value, Subway Headquarters is driving innovation and excellence in the quick service restaurant (QSR) industry. The company culture promotes a high-performance environment where employees think like owners, move quickly, and make decisions that directly impact franchisee success and customer satisfaction worldwide.
The Sr. Director, Product - Menu, is a pivotal leadership position within Subway Headquarters. This senior role is responsible for owning the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and execution for Menu Management across both franchise and corporate channels. The menu at Subway is not just a list of offerings; it’s a dynamic and multi-dimensional product that integrates thousands of franchise operators across dozens of markets. This role involves overseeing menu data services, which include offer creation and managing pipelines for new and internal offers. Additionally, the position drives the AI-powered automation of menu workflows, leveraging cutting-edge automation technologies to enhance operational efficiencies for franchisees.
The role demands strong cross-functional collaboration with Digital, 3rd party delivery platforms, Marketing, Product Information Management (PIM), and Engineering/Design teams. As a high-visibility and high-impact position, the Sr. Director will build, mentor, and scale a product and contractor team, ensuring alignment and seamless execution across all facets of Subway's menu management ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a product mindset focused on systems, outcomes, and user value rather than just features and tasks. They are adept at managing teams while balancing strategic leadership with hands-on project work, have a high comfort level in fast-paced, data-driven environments, and embrace AI as a tool for innovation and automation.
This role includes travel up to 15% of the time as needed and offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical insurance, life insurance, pension or 401K/RSP options based on country, competitive bonuses, mobility allowances, tuition reimbursement, company holidays, and volunteering time. Subway is deeply committed to inclusivity, accountability, and impact, making it a compelling opportunity for accomplished product leaders eager to shape the future of a global QSR menu experience. Candidates must be authorized to work in the country where the position is based.
