This exciting opportunity is for a Senior Corporate Travel Consultant to join ALTOUR onsite in Santa Monica, California, serving a prominent entertainment corporate travel client. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy workspace, delivering best-in-class travel consultation tailored to sophisticated, global clientele. The role demands expertise in managing and booking both domestic and international travel arrangements, including air, hotel, car rentals, train, tour, and ground transportation bookings, all within corporate travel guidelines and budget considerations.

As a Senior Corporate Travel Consultant, you will take full ownership of each client travel record from the point of booking through departure, ensuring all details such as seat assignments, meal preferences, and upgrades are meticulously managed for maximum client satisfaction. Your responsibilities will also include providing research-backed solutions to travel-related issues, staying current and proficient with Sabre travel technology, and applying your deep knowledge of airline rules, tariffs, and fare requirements to each booking. The position requires collaboration with a dynamic team, participation in training to maintain skill currency, and occasional problem resolution that involves management.

The role is integral in driving operational efficiency and excellent client service, requiring exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and flexibility. It offers the opportunity to influence improvements in company processes related to customer service, ticketing accuracy, invoicing, and documentation. Job Requirements

  • Seven plus years of industry experience
  • Proficient in Sabre computer system

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Complete travel arrangements for clients' air, hotel, car rentals, trains, tours and ground arrangements at the lowest possible price within corporate travel guidelines
  • Follow and suggest improvements in company procedures related to customer service, documentation of PNRs and profiles, ticketing, invoicing, attendance, and accuracy of work
  • Maintain ownership of client travel records until departure ensuring all details including seat assignments, meal preferences, and upgrades meet client satisfaction
  • Research and provide solutions to travel-related problems experienced by clients with management involvement
  • Stay fully informed on airline rules, regulations, tariffs, and fare requirements applying this knowledge accurately to travel arrangements
  • Participate in training opportunities to maintain and enhance Sabre proficiency and other relevant skills
  • Assist other agents as needed and perform other office functions to improve operational efficiency
