Job Requirements

  • 7 plus years of relevant experience in corporate events or hospitality industry
  • Proven track record in planning and executing professional events
  • Experience managing budgets and timelines effectively
  • Availability to work after hours and at off-site venues
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs during event setup
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual event platforms
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage several events simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Capable of leading a team and mentoring staff

Job Qualifications

  • 7 plus years of experience in corporate event planning or hospitality industry
  • Proven success in producing and executing high-quality meetings and events
  • Experience managing, monitoring, and forecasting budgets and deadlines
  • Ability to work outside normal business hours and at off-site locations
  • Skilled in handling day-of event logistics including setup and materials handling
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Office suite
  • Familiarity with virtual event platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Webex
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Leadership or team management experience
  • Knowledge of catering software such as Reserve or CaterTrax
  • Experience with floor plan design programs like Meeting Matrix or SmartDraw

Job Duties

  • Plan, manage, and deliver exceptional corporate events
  • Oversee full events schedule and coordinate event intake
  • Maintain scheduling and processes for front desk and event experience
  • Collaborate with catering, AV, building services, and security teams
  • Develop and maintain relationships with leadership and executive admins
  • Consult on event setup for community and partner meetings
  • Coordinate with leadership to provide appropriate event welcomes
  • Provide event costs and oversee payment or chargebacks
  • Manage travel logistics for leadership meetings
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with external vendors
  • Lead execution of signature HQ events
  • Act as subject matter expert for event guide program
  • Ensure accurate data in visitor management for events
  • Mentor and provide direction to events team
  • Identify and implement trends in event planning
  • Manage multiple event projects concurrently
  • Develop and maintain positive internal and external relationships
