Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in food preparation or culinary services
  • Ability to work variable shifts between 3:00 AM and 8:00 PM including weekends
  • Willingness to adhere to all University policies and procedures
  • Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen-related tasks
  • Eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to operate cooking appliances safely
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work variable shifts including weekends
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Wash, chop, and store ingredients
  • Ensure meal quality and customer satisfaction
  • Measure, mix, and season menu items according to standards
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
  • Test foods to determine doneness
  • Serve food in proper portions onto appropriate receptacles
  • Clean cooking areas and kitchen equipment
  • Wash and sort flatware, serving dishes, china, and glasses
  • Check and regulate temperature of appliances
  • Adhere to University and unit-level policies and safeguard assets
