Job Requirements
- bachelor’s degree in business hospitality marketing or related field preferred
- minimum of 5 years related sales or business development experience
- minimum of 2 years experience selling large complex group business
- proven ability in business development and client relationship maintenance
- existing industry relationships with experiential agencies third parties local DMCs hotels and customers
- established book of business driving revenue
- preferred experience in stadium arena convention or large venue sales
- strong networking and relationship-building skills
- involvement in MPI PCMA IAEE or similar organizations preferred
- excellent communication presentation negotiation critical thinking problem-solving organization and time management skills
- self-starter with ability to work independently and in teams
- availability for evenings weekends travel and networking
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- knowledge of special events corporate events and sales strategies
Job Qualifications

- preferred stadium arena convention center or large venue sales experience
- strong networking and relationship-building skills fostering partnerships in hospitality and events
- active involvement in MPI PCMA IAEE or similar organizations preferred
- strong communication presentation negotiation critical thinking problem-solving organization and time management skills
- self-starter able to work independently and collaboratively
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite word excel outlook and powerpoint
- knowledge of special and corporate events and sales strategies
- availability for evenings weekends travel and networking as needed
Job Duties
- solicit existing and prospective target accounts within market segments resulting in executed contracts through effective negotiations
- develop and maintain a robust account base producing incremental revenue
- focus on securing large-scale event opportunities including field-level events premium experiences and full venue buyouts
- target and develop business within key verticals such as technology pharmaceutical insurance finance automotive and association tradeshow groups and affiliates
- maintain strategic relationships with local hotel partners destination management companies third-party planners experiential agencies and the Las Vegas hospitality community
- support partnership efforts with Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority to maximize destination sales
- conduct strategic travel to key customers agencies and industry partners for business development
- use established business relationships to generate immediate sales opportunities
- position benefits of the property aligning venue offerings with customer priorities
- connect customer business priorities to venue value propositions and differentiators
- become subject matter expert on industry trends market conditions and opportunities
- understand customer buying processes and guide conversations toward favorable outcomes
- prospect and qualify new leads reviewing event scope venue fit and revenue potential
- maintain relationships with third parties experiential agencies DMCs and customers focusing on repeat business
- plan and execute impactful site visits showcasing venue capabilities and offerings
- monitor and develop efficiencies within Sales CRM ensuring follow-ups and accurate forecasting
- create customized proposals presentations and estimates articulating value
- strategize sales strategies negotiation approaches and agreement structures with sales leadership
- develop trust and maintain long-term client partnerships
- support trade shows networking events industry conferences and sales initiatives
- stay informed on corporate and destination trends supporting sales strategy
- maintain active membership in industry organizations
