Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in food service or hospitality management
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the role
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food services management or related supervisory roles
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to train and develop staff
  • Experience with conducting audits and quality control measures
  • Familiarity with healthcare environment standards and patient service protocols

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of the Food and Nutrition Department Main Kitchen
  • Complete opening and closing Daily Patient Services Report
  • Conduct tray accuracy audits, tray passer audits, test trays, and meal rounds
  • Ensure proper safety and sanitation standards per hospital, Sodexo policy and government regulations
  • Check equipment and order repairs/maintenance as needed
  • Supervise sanitation and special cleaning projects
  • Act as liaison for patients, families, physicians, and staff to facilitate positive customer service
