As a Housekeeping Attendant at Springhill Suites by Marriott, your primary responsibility is to ensure that every guest room is impeccably cleaned and maintained to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. You will be tasked with a variety of housekeeping duties, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms and fixtures, removing and replacing linen and terry, dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash, mopping floors, and replenishing guest amenities.   • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to push and pull up to 50lbs
  • Comfortable around heavy duty machinery
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Good judgment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including weekdays, weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Previous experience in hotel or linen services preferred

Job Duties

  • Clean and maintain all areas of guest rooms including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, fixtures, removing dirty linen and terry and replacing all used guest amenities, dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash, mopping floors and adding a personal touch to provide excellent housekeeping service
  • Complete standard room assignments in compliance with time and productivity standards
  • Report maintenance requests to ensure everything is in perfect working order
  • Respect guest privacy and security
  • Support the needs of guests and associates with enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing cleaning duties
  • Interact politely and professionally with guests and team members
