Renowned for true Texan hospitality, the hotel features spacious suites with separate living areas, flat-screen TVs, microwaves, and mini-fridges, offering 25% more space than typical hotel rooms. The hotel serves a complimentary breakfast buffet that includes classic American fares alongside healthy choices like oatmeal and fresh fruit. The position available is for an Operations Manager who will play a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations of the hotel. Reporting directly to the Department Head or General Manager, the Operations Manager will oversee routine operational tasks and supervise the back-of-house departments such as housekeeping, engineering, maintenance, food and beverage, and front office in the absence of key managerial personnel. This role is instrumental in supporting hotel profitability by focusing on cost control, revenue generation, guest satisfaction, and employee development. The Operations Manager will also assist the General Manager with financial reporting and ensure compliance with corporate and brand standards.
This role demands a hands-on leader capable of working effectively in high-pressure situations while maintaining composure. The successful candidate will be expected to foster a positive, team-oriented environment that empowers employees to make guest-focused decisions. In addition to supervising various departments, the Operations Manager will ensure adherence to safety and operational standards as well as participate actively in service training and recruitment. The position requires flexibility in work hours and the ability to cover Manager on Duty shifts. This is an exempt level position with responsibilities that extend as needed to fulfill operational requirements. The role provides a promising career advancement opportunity within the hospitality industry and encourages relocation for promotional growth. The hotel values high professional standards, including grooming and dress code compliance, enhanced by a supportive corporate training program and certification requirements.
