In addition, the Sportsbook Supervisor is tasked with training and evaluating Sportsbook writers and cashiers, settling customer disputes, and maintaining detailed betting and currency transaction records, compliant with federal regulations such as Title 31.

Job Requirements
- Preference given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal Members
- Associate degree or four years experience in similar position with minimum two years Sportsbook or similar casino experience may be substituted
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Bi-lingual and multi-cultural experience preferred
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems is required
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming Regulatory Commission key gaming license
- Must be able to work various hours including weekends and holidays
- Must present self in a well-groomed professional appearance
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to handle stress effectively
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Monitor guests and employees during sports and keno wagering
- Greet guests in friendly, courteous and professional manner
- Monitor customer transactions
- Educate team members and players on proper rules and procedures
- Input betting information correctly into computer
- Verify winning tickets for guests
- Accept money and give ticket and change to guests
- Maintain and update betting sheets
- Adhere to gaming commission regulations, company and departmental policy, applicable tribal, state and federal laws
- Ensure all cash handling and exchange procedures are followed
- Motivate and manage a culturally diverse Sportsbook staff
- Train Sportsbook writers and cashiers and evaluate job performance
- Monitor betting activity, protect Sportsbook tills, playing public and casino assets
- Initiate and supervise Sportsbook bets and resulting pay outs
- Assure proper completion of currency transaction reporting paperwork as required by federal regulation (Title 31)
- Rate Sportsbook customer play and identify high dollar action
- Settle customer disputes at the Sportsbook desk
- Perform basic administrative duties as assigned
- Assume Sportsbook writer duties as necessary
- Calculate winnings to verify payment made by desk staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
